Marko Kump seventh on GP Industria & Commercio di Prato
Adria Mobil Cycling team went to race Grand Prix Industria & Commercio di Prato in Italy, which was also the last race for Marko Kump ahead of the Road World Championships in Richmond, USA. Daniele Bennati, a member of the Italian national team won the 185 km long race around Prato; Marko Kump was excellent seventh.

Five riders were in the escape for most time of the race, winner Daniele Bennati was also among them. Peloton came close to the group, but they would need couple kilometers more to catch them. Marko Kump was second in the peloton finish sprint and finished the race in seventh.

Team manager Boštjan Mervar: “I’m very happy with the race. Marko Kump did an excellent job and he would be a contender for the victory if the peloton would catch the escapees. Marko did very well on this kind of track that is very similar to that on the world champs, which is another reason for joy. David Per also did very good, and he will represent Slovenia in the Under 23 race on the championships. For him it’s a good result that he finished the race.”
