Adria Mobil unbeatable in Umag

Race in Umag, Croatia, was again full of crashes. Roads are not ready for the groups of 200 riders and so they have to fight for every centimeter of tarmac. Adria Mobil Cycling’s captain Radoslav Rogina also crashed 4 km before the finish of the race; that happened just one day after his 36th birthday.
Marko Kump, winner of the race: “We were all under the stress of the crashes, that took place in the last lap. Because of that I have some bad thoughts despite the victory. I’m worried about Radoslav and I hope he will be OK. Other than that I’m happy with today’s race. Our boys were at the lead of the group for the biggest part of last lap and they gave me a good start to the finish sprint.”
