In 2017, the club celebrated an important jubilee, the 45th anniversary of the establishment and continuous operation of the Novo mesto cycling club, now known as the Adria Mobil Cycling Team. In 2017, the rejuvenated team mostly gained new experience in various competitions, yet with excellent individual results, such as the victory of Dušan Rajović in the tenth international Croatia-Slovenia race. Thus the team has proved that they are on the right track to success. Last year, the club also achieved an important international media breakthrough in the organizational fi eld, as the traditional, 24th Tour of Slovenia was broadcast by Eurosport for the fi rst time in the history of the Tour. Therefore, with the support of the general sponsor Adria Mobil, the club managed to showcase the Tour of Slovenia and the country as an attractive tourist destination to millions of cycling fans in Europe and the world.

The year 2018 was marked by the 25th Tour of Slovenia, which is the biggest organizational feat of the Adria Mobil Cycling Team. A record number of World Tour teams took part in the race, and the winner was the former rider of the Novo mesto club, Primož Roglič. For the organization and implementation of the race, the club received the prestigious SPORTO Award 2018. The last season will also be remembered by the thirteen victories of the senior team, who won the fi rst race, GP Izola, Croatia-Slovenia. Juniors and boys were also successful with numerous victories at home and abroad. Aljaž Omrzel took part in the Youth Olympic Games.

In 2019 the professional team achieved twelve wins in official races. The person who excelled the most was Marko Kump, who won all four one-day “classic” events in Slovenia – the first one to do so. For the first time in its history, the Adria Mobil Cycling Club managed to win the Slovenian Team Cup in all the categories. After several years of inactivity, training could begin again at the renovated and covered velodrome. A national championship in all categories was organized.

The successful start of the 2020 season was interrupted by a COVID-19 pandemic, which was declared in mid-March. Competitions were canceled and due to restrictions cyclists trained individually. The situation did not return to normal until the end of June. Despite the difficult and unusual season, the riders achieved some nice successes. The juniors and boys’ categories stood out in particular, winning most of the races and above all - winning the Slovenian Cup among individuals and teams. The result of the year was achieved by Nino Polovič, who took 7th place in the criteria at the European Junior Velodrome Championships. With this result, he became the athlete of Novo mesto for 2020.
