Radoslav Rogina advances for one place


Oleksandr Polivoda from Ukrania won eight stage of Tour of Qinghai Lake in China. He was fastest in the group of twelve cyclist, among them was also Adria Mobil’s Radoslav Rogina. He was sixth on the stage and has advanced to sixth overall.


Cyclists had to climb up to 3.550 meters high pass on one of the last mountain stages and finish it on “only” 2.000 meters above the sea level. Stage Menyuan - Ping'an was among the longest – it was 224 km long, Ukranian Oleksandr Polivoda won it. Colombian Yonathan Monsalve is still in the overall lead.

Žiga Grošelj’s report from the stage: “Nothing special happened. The group fell apart on the climb and up in the front the group of 12 cyclists was created. Gregor Gazvoda and myself were with them in the start, but on the climb we’re left back.”
